Last updated: 23 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Scale Collectibles uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit www.scalecollectibles.com. Cookies help us operate the website, provide shopping and customer account functionality, maintain security, remember preferences and understand how visitors use the website. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@scalecollectibles.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when you visit a website. They allow websites to recognise your device, remember information about your visit and provide functions such as maintaining a shopping session, keeping you signed into an account or remembering your preferences. Some cookies are removed when you close your browser, while others remain for a defined period or until you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
Scale Collectibles uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning correctly, maintain security, support customer accounts, shopping cart and checkout functionality, remember preferences, process online purchases, understand how visitors use the website, monitor performance and improve the overall customer experience.
3. Essential cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the website to operate correctly and securely. They may be used to maintain browsing sessions, recognise logged-in customers, remember items in your shopping cart, support checkout, process forms, prevent fraud and remember your privacy choices. Because these cookies are necessary for the website to function, they may be used without consent where permitted by applicable law.
4. Functional cookies
Functional cookies allow the website to remember choices you make and provide additional functionality, such as remembering account preferences, display settings or previously selected options. Where required by law, these cookies will only be used after you have provided consent.
5. Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use Scale Collectibles by collecting information such as pages visited, time spent on the website, device and browser information, approximate location, referring pages and website interactions. This information helps us identify technical issues and improve website performance, content and customer experience. Where required, these cookies are only used with your consent.
6. Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of promotional activity or provide advertising that is more relevant to visitors. These cookies may record how you interact with the website and may be provided by third-party marketing services. Where applicable law requires consent, marketing cookies will only be activated after you agree to their use.
7. Wix cookies
The Scale Collectibles website is built and operated using the Wix platform. Wix may use cookies and similar technologies for website hosting, security, customer accounts, e-commerce functionality, forms, shopping carts, checkout, website performance and other technical services. The specific cookies used may change depending on the Wix features active on the website and your cookie preferences.
8. Third-party cookies
Some features on our website may be provided by third-party services, including payment providers, analytics services, embedded content or other website integrations. These third parties may place or access cookies on your device in order to provide their services and may process information according to their own privacy and cookie policies.
9. Payments and checkout
When you purchase products through Scale Collectibles, payment and checkout providers may use cookies or similar technologies to securely process transactions, authenticate payments, maintain checkout sessions and prevent fraudulent activity. These technologies may be necessary for the payment process to operate correctly.
10. Cookie consent
When you visit Scale Collectibles, you may be shown a cookie banner or privacy controls that allow you to accept cookies, reject non-essential cookies or choose which categories you wish to allow. Essential cookies may remain active because they are necessary for the website to function, and your cookie preferences may themselves be stored so the website can remember your choices.
11. Managing your cookie preferences
You can manage your cookie choices through the cookie settings available on the website or through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies, including third-party cookies. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect functions such as customer accounts, shopping carts, login and checkout.
12. How long cookies are stored
The amount of time a cookie remains on your device depends on its purpose. Session cookies are generally removed when you close your browser, while persistent cookies may remain for a defined period or until you manually delete them. The exact duration may vary depending on the cookie and the service provider responsible for it.
13. Cookies and personal information
Information collected through cookies may be considered personal data where it can be associated with an identifiable person, device, customer account or online identifier. Where cookie information constitutes personal data, it will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” or similar privacy setting. As there is currently no universally accepted technical standard for responding to these signals, Scale Collectibles primarily relies on the cookie consent controls available through the website and the privacy settings provided by your browser.
15. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, Wix functionality, technologies or legal requirements. Any updated version will be published on www.scalecollectibles.com, and the date at the top of this page will be updated where appropriate.
